Logos on every slide? Take the online poll...
Frequently, corporate clients ask me to develop PowerPoint templates with the
corporate logo incorporated into the bottom right, so that the logo appears in
every darn slide.
I try to talk clients out of this bizarre design defect. What do they think, that without a logo on every slide, that their audience will forget who they are? Maybe the sales staff needs to learn how to hand out business cards & brochures, or wear a company polo shirt or something.
In my opinion, a logo often interferes or conflicts with the content of the slide. But maybe the
logo-on-every-slide-syndrome is my own pet peeve: I don't like the little network logos on the bottom right corner of my TV screen, either. Who does?
So I wonder: just how prevalent IS this little design annoyance in the corporate arena?
