It is cool to present like penguin...
You can dress conservatively, waddle to the podium, and start quacking under your breath like a Batman villain.
Or Dick Cheney.
But that is only one way to present like a penguin...
Another way?
Go retro.
Go black and white.
In a sea of high-tech presentations, you can stand out by entirely eliminating color from your presentation. Black on white (or white on black) includes the element of drama. High-impact.
Simple, clear, and powerful.

: 4:15 AM, August 25, 2006I'm talking about dyslexics. Black/white is the worst combination for clarity. Edges of letters become fuzzy and things merge together. A pale background like light blue or even cream can make all the difference.
It may not be cool, but at least it will be clear!
